She sees no reason to not give people a second chance. It made no sense to not give people a chance to prove their worth.
What he said brought her back to reality. She nods slowly. "I can't believe it happened. Yet... I know there are many people who would have a hard time staying their hands."
She knows Robert is one of them. She hasn't thought about it but she realizes that her lover would have killed the Artist given the chance.
