"Well thanks, but there's a difference between being able to just secure a date, and securing one with a really sweet beefcake superhero with a lot on his mind. In his particular case, I'd probably try asking at the end of this next meeting if he and I could take more over some coffee. Because coffee in the English-speaking world has some distinct connotations of date-like behavior without necessarily being a date, so it's a good first step to ease into the process and get some time together."
