Kang grins at the initial efforts of the Avengers and allies.
"You may as well give up - these aren't the robots you met back in your home dimension, Avengers. The ones outside were... shall we say, outdated models, created to lure you in here. These are programmed with all your weapons, your moves, your weaknesses - and I have 12 worlds worth of research and secrets - ancient magic, technology from Apokalips, Brainiac's shells, the secrets of the Sentry's Watchtower... they incorporate them all. Each of them is as strong as Superman's robots, as fast as the Red Tornado, with dozens of weapons... you're not going to get near me... but just in case..."
He taps a button on a panel near him, and jolts of electricity erupt from the ceiling, doing nothing to the robots, but lashing at heroes who aren't quick enough, seemingly striking at random amidst the fight.
As he does so, the robots seem to pick up speed, not unhurt by the heroes' assaults, but not a one of them is downed either - these obviously aren't the usual mookbots, and there's plenty of them.
