The cellphone speeds at Damien, but to him, Lian's movement could not be more obvious unless she'd spoken it aloud.
Damien's hand rises and he catches the cellphone before it hits him and he places it on the nearest flat surface.
"Hello to you, too, Beloved. I have missed you." he says, looking her over as the light comes on.
He sees her rounded stomach and his expression softens as his gaze focuses on her stomach.
"How...how is our baby?" he asks quietly.
