Without thinking, Damien moves forward and drops this knees to kiss his wife's hips, and then, her belly, very gently.
Then he lays his ear to her stomach.
"Hello, in there, my little ones. I am your father. I know that I have not been around much, and that I have made your mother very, very sad...but I hope you will give me a chance to show my quality to you.
And I hope that your mother will let me love her as I always have. I love all two or ten of you, however many there are." Damien says, his arms going around Lian's waist.
