Damien Wilson has been in pain before, but not like this. Even the worst of his grandfather's tortures did not hurt the way this did.
Being thrown through several walls and even landing on hard concrete was painful enough to cause scream aloud, but his body was healing those injuries even now.
When the car fell from above, Damien rolled away, but misjudged his distance from the impact. He paid for his mistaken when one of the tires landed on his tibia, snapping it in two and pinning him in place.
That earned new howls of pain and rage from him, mixing with the fear in his heart that Lian was up there, alone, with that monster.
(FEAR)
Now, he pushes himself to his knees on the streets of Star City, trying to find the strength to get nto his feet and get back upstairs.
He has to save his wife.
