"Mother...? What...what happened to you?" Damien asks in shock. He knew Cerdian and his grandfather to be dead, but he'd seen his mother just two days ago!
She was fine when he left!
"Mother, you have to help me /stop/ him! They are going to kill my wife and children! Please, I...I beg of you. Do not let him murder Lian." Damien says, his eyes watering.
"I will give my life if necessary." he says.
