Nicolette had been watching Al Jazeera all day. People'd laughed at her when she'd had a fit about getting it in Arabic--a premium among premium channels--but now she was glad she'd stuck her guns. She was glued to the feeds and footage coming out of Egypt and the few moments her eyes drifted from the television they were going to her phone.
She tried calling again.
"C'mon Dad, pick up the damn phone..."
