This time, it was Eli who bought Pippi some time. The flare of fire distracted Cait's vision just long enough for Pippi to get a hand dragging something back over to her - a helpful rotweiler just happening to decide that weapon fetch is a good game mid-battle.
As Pippi speaks, her powers sensing the imminent danger, and feeling the city needing her help, the Indigo light flares.
"You should be...
One... I have a chainsaw."
she snarls as she does the world's first standing 720 pirouette with a running chainsaw, finishing Eli's work and taking the zombie's head off on the second spin.
"Two...penguins are MAMMALS, you ungrateful bitch."
Do not mess with Pippi's worldview.
