Right, zombie. Not his girlfriend. In fact, a mockery of everything Mickey was.
He hurts - he apparently doesn't need a heart - its just speedforce like the rest of him, but convenient and comfortable to have. However, its still like most people losing an arm - they don't need it, per se, but having it torn off is still an awfully traumatic experience.
Still, he manages to fight through it - and shock becomes anger. How dare this thing do this to her, to him, to them, to Nic?

"How dare you?!" he snarls, rushing forward, trying to shoulder tackle her. As he does so, though, he's vibrating, trying to phase both of them into the nearest surface - floor, wall, doesn't matter.
At which point he intends to let go.
