There was the crack of a sonic boom and the sudden rush of air being displaced as Wendi returned to the Brownstone, having finally shed enough of her speed to start slowing down.
And when she did, it was quite the fast slow down. Going almost instantly from speed to still.
She tried to get moving with the others... but found her speed was gone.
