Even the mighty Hal Jordan, one of the Greatest Green Lanterns ever cannot withstand Dex's assault forever. Though he holds out longer than any other Black Lantern, the combination of Rage and Will batter his defenses and eventually tear through him like a torrent.
But before he dies, Hal smirks at Dex.
"You'll always be a slave, Dex. No matter how far you run, you'll never be free. You'll just...keep trading...one master...for another."
//Connection Severed.//
And with that, Hal Jordan disintegrates into a pile of ash.
