Sighing, Avalon gives Henry a smile and awkwardly hugs him back, seeming more sheepish about getting hugged than anything. It was easy to keep all those once confusing feelings to himself, the more he looked at things. Besides, it was better to be a friend than a scorned lover.
"Want me to go check on Josh?" He then asks, looking to be helpful. See, that was the thing: Ava got to spend so much untold time with Henry, just the two of them. Henry trusted Avalon with his life, and would lay his own down to save just about anyone else's. In the end, what was a few hours of naked romping followed by awkwardness, when he got all that other? Not worth it. It simply wasn't worth being selfish when Henry obviously so enjoyed himself with others who were not Avalon.
