Avalon is careful to not say Josh's name, or even bring that up again, but he knows that Henry will be preoccupied for quite a while with Josh. It's not a thought that angers him or even really hurts him.. it just intensifies Avalon's isolation. Things have been an adjustment for the ex-military general, civil revolution leading teenager who had to grow up far too fast.
Things like going to the mall, hanging out with friends? Henry introduced him to that. It was hard to not feel things yawning up long and wide around yourself when you sit alone more and more.
