Trying to do anything about the water itself will have to wait, while Traya tries to defend herself. Michael may be adapting quickly to the ring and forging constructs, but Traya's science comes from math and physics and complex systems. She knows right where to supply gusts of air to defect the barrage of water...
But she can't keep it up forever. One makes it through, striking her alongside the head. Her uniform, fortunately, is light armor; it protects her some, but she still starts to fall.
