Vic was helping fight as best as he could while he wasn't proud about having to do this he was using some of the most lethal moves he knew to take disable Black Lanterns faster while being careful to guard his heart. After this he would definitely want to talk to his dad about a few thinks and definitely doing some deep meditation before that.
