Jai West can't believe what's happening. He remembers how much it hurt to die, the explosion, the pain from all of the drugs...but that's gone and he remembers everything.
He remembers every single second of what's happened since the Black Rings resurrected him, all of the horrible things he's said and done to the people he loves.
And now he's alive and has to face them all, after all of it.
He should be happy to be alive, but right now, he isn't.
