The last thing Cerdian remembers is steeling himself to commit murder against a member of the League. He was doing it to save Lian, he told himself. He was doing it to keep her from a man who would only hurt her and her children.
And when he'd told her to stay inside...she'd come out to speak to Damien.
Cerdian finds his mother and Queen Mera together, and he hugs Dolphin.
"Mother...can we go home? Please?" he asks, his voice small and quiet.
