In the medical ward on Oa
Rose woke up in a strange place with a throbbing headache. The last thing she had remembered was getting knocked out of the sky by the Black Lantern Hal Jordon, and falling to the ground in the wreckage on Oa.
She was sure that she was dead.
But no, she wasn't. She had woken up hours later in the medical ward on Oa, having sustained a couple of broken bones and a mild concussion. The doctor told her that her being alive was a miracle.
As much as Rose was happy to be alive, she just wanted to leave this place. Wanted to leave and find Dex, her grandmother, and her brother. She had to know if they were still safe. She had to know what happened.
She lied in her bed, staring at the ceiling impatiently, fiddling with her ring.
