That had her think back.
"He went out of town for a few days around that time. I'm in Gotham mostly these days. He had just... Fuck."
She gets it now. There have been too many lies. And while she wants to trust Robert she just can't. Not anymore.
"He didn't give me details. I didn't ask because I thought I should trust him. All signs pointed to him trying to be honest with me at the time." She looks fusterated now but just nods.
"All right. I won't tell anyone anything."
