Cerdian stops as Lian grabs his arm, and he curses himself inwardly for being so weak. He should keep walking before she says something to make him forgive her, like she always does.
"Lian, we have to stop doing this to each other. It gets us nowhere and we end up worse off for it than we were before." Cerdian says.
"You have children on the way and I...I need to know who I am /without/ you. For years, my life has been based on a dream that can /never/ come true. I've followed you everywhere without question, Lian.
But where you're headed, I can't follow you. Not anymore." Cerdian says.
