Bobblehead ([info]bobblehead) wrote in [info]dc_nextgen,
The world through Pippi-vision can be an interesting, and often very cheerful place sometimes.

"So, uhm, one of the things mom's people wanted to talk to me about was the family trust. And I was really confused for a while, because, you know, of course I trust my family. I only really have one family... err, how would you say that? One person who is family?"
There's a little more rambling. Eventually it somehow devolves into talking about koalas.

Thankfully, when she runs out of steam, she finds the original topic again. "So, anyway, it turns out that trust means more than one thing. It means at least two things... and apparently one of them is money. But anyhow, part of the trust-money-thing involves college. There's a big fund that Twin Cities Soap and Beauty put up for a scholarship fund. Oh yeah, since that's a big word... uhm, scholarship apparently means money for college! I don't know why they didn't give mom more money... but its some tax thing, and cause they thought I might want to go to college sometime."

Deep breath. "So, see, I know college has some good things. But I don't date, and I've heard frat boys are even worse than high school boys. And I'd have to go to classes and things... so I'm not going. But New York has a /really/ awesome beauty school. They might be able to help me get a job at Playboy or Vogue or something doing hair stuff... but it doesn't cost near as much as the trust thing... for scholarshippy things... I said what a scholarship is, right?"

Deep breath. "So the question is... do you want to go to college?"
