Ruth just knows this has to get settled before somebody gets hurt. From the edge of the roof, she jumps as well.
Flying is not something with which Ruth has chosen to experiment often. She doesn't do it well. But she manages to glide over and just try to herd Eli, occupied with Jay, back onto the roof so they can bring him inside. "You need to get to bed."
