"Bad idea. Reporters follow you just like they followed Keith, and there's no way in the world we should know each other. Someone sees us together and my life becomes an open book." Jai says warily.
"Sorry, but I can't take that chance right now, not with everything that's happened. But you called me here and I wanted to...apologize, I guess. I was with Keith when...it happened." Jai says slowly, taking a deep breath to calm himself.
"I went out to try to track down the person who sent him a package that upset him. I left him for just a second and...he was gone. Like that. I'm sorry."
