"Maybe you two don't /get/ it. I know Jai doesn't. When he looks in the mirror, he sees /me/. I'm his guilt and rage and hatred at being dragged out of Heaven to come back and live in this hellhole. It doesn't matter what name I call myself; this is the form he identifies it with. Black Lantern Jai, Black Flash, Breakneck; pick a name, they all fit!
The important thing is...if /I/ go, he goes. And if he stays, I'll /always/ come back. So, maybe it's time you two--"
"I really, really hope I never talked this much." Jai says, grabbing Black Lantern Jai behind.
"Michael! Hit him with your best shot, man! Don't worry about me! Just get rid of him!" Jai yells, even as the Black Lantern tries to wriggle free.
