And notice someone did. Victoria had been in her apartment at the time, going over her list of supplies for the upcoming school year. School for teachers started in just two short weeks and though she was largely prepared, her other responsibilities kept some things on the table.
She got up and walked to the location of the disturbance, stopping just behind the police barricade.
"Hellfire and damnation..." she whispered as she watched.
