Cerdian hears the sounds of combat inside the building and heads inside to see what's going on. He dodges a fire blast and sees that several people seem to be attacking one person in question.
It doesn't take him long to figure out who the bad guy is here.
Rather than attacking the fiery woman with magic directly, Cerdian tries a different tactic: he kneels and sketches a small circle upon the floor, chanting in Atlantean while he does.
Instead of /fighting/ her magic, Cerdian is attempting to inhibit it and shut it down completely so that she can't cast against Zach or the others at all.
