The fire is enough to make her cease her attacks and draw her entire force into her shield, but having to deflect the dumpster is the last indignity.
She's lost her advantage and the elemental was aware enough to use his abilities to back up the mage now. That put her at a disadvantage she hadn't planned for so with one final large bolt of lightning aimed at Ash for a parting shot, she chants and disappears.
