The flash grenades went off and blinding light tore through the shadow constructs. When the light died the shadows were no more. The guys were blinded for a few moments.
Cady had closed her eyes when the shout went out. She quickly assessed the situation and knew it would not end well. She hit a small electronic device and a moment she disappeared leaving the woman and child behind.
