Jazz debated with herself. Maria hadn't mentioned anyone named Thomas, but if she stayed in the office with him he wouldn't be able to do anything harmful and if Maria didn't know him when she got there Jazz could show him to the door not so politely.
"The assistant's name is Jaslyn Todd, Jazz for short, and thank you. I'm a fan of Halloween."
She shakes the cotton webs off her fingers and sticks her hand out to shake.
