The two parts of Tomar's beak opened and closed a few times, before he could bring himself to answer.
"I shame my heritage," he said, after a moment. "The Guardians are wise... but often misguided in their ways."
He dissolved his construct. "I've little taste for battle. And even less for senseless acts."
