He's more relaxed than he was a moment ago but still a little nervous. He hopes it doesn't show.
"It sounds like you were really good if you were even considered for a scholarship. That sucks about your injury though. Are you better now?" He hasn't noticed her in any pain so he didn't realize...oh dear, he better not have accidentally flared up an old injury with that teleporting stunt.
"Why would anyone think you're dumb? I don't see it...is it just cause of people's accents? Cause I know a guy with the most stereotypical cowboy accent ever and he's one of the top in his engineering class." Judging people annoys him, everyone has a reason for the way they are and he hated it when people forgot that the people they were judging were people too. He takes a sip of his coke to try and prevent himself from saying any more.
