He'd ruined something hadn't he? What was it though? She was only flirting wasn't she? She wasn't even interested...she couldn't actually...
Maybe he was being stupid.
But he feels like he did something wrong. He needs to get back to the usual teasing, get rid of this awkwardness. Do something.
He gives her a smile and does the first thing he can think of to surprise her, he pulls her into a tight hug (too tight to do anything much he tells innerBatman). "Don't go fainting on me now..." It might also be a little revenge for all her teasing tonight.
