When the door opens he takes a deep breath and tries to seem as calm as possible. It doesn't really work on hiding his nervousness though.
"Hi! I uh...was wondering if you were free." She had gotten the card right? What if she hadn't noticed it under her door? Worse...what if he'd forgotten to sign it and her being here was either because she thought someone else asked her out or she hadn't recieved the card?
Deep breath Harry.
