He'd just suited up and left for patrol when one of the automatic notifications over the comm comes in about chaos at...the circus? Really, when would people learn that Gotham and circuses no longer mixed? Sure there'd been less circuses since Joker made his big debut all those years ago but some people just didn't get it...And then they had the nerve to act surprised when their party was crashed by some clown themed villain.
Over the comms he notifies Huntress that he'll be swinging over to the circus to try and deal with this. He'd learnt in the past the hard way that it was best to tell people before going off to deal with this stuff. Especially if you needed backup later.
"I wonder if this cirucs was brave enough to go for the clown car act, last one didn't turn out well." Then he jumps off the building and swings off to go stop the usual Gotham mayhem.
