An almost-growl slips out of her as she takes the hit to her shoulder. It hurt like a bitch, but she used the distraction to slip out the back of the tent. If mangy birdbrain wanted to save the drooling morons of Gotham, he was welcome to try, but she wasn't going to stick around to play whack-a-brat with him.
Now was the time for a stealthy retreat; and to get chewed out by mom for pulling this little stunt.
