Night on the town
He had mentioned wanting to spend a night out with her. Something a little nicer and he planned on taking her dancing too. He had other things in mind but he wasn't going to say anything about that.
He had kept a few things close to his chest so to speak and really didn't want to say why he still had a slightly healing bruise on the underside of his jaw still. He wasn't going to say why until after he actually did propose. She'd probably yell a bit at him for going to meet her parents without him but he knew she couldn't be too upset. Or wouldn't.
He's nervous. He checks to see if his tie is still straight while he waits for Cat. He really better not screw this up.
