And now she carefully sinks beside him to stroke his back gently. He sounds.... upset to her.
"It's okay. I'm glad you're safe right now. That's what matters. And if you really need to go.... I can figure something out. So you won't pull the stitches." She tilts her head.
"You can't put that uniform back on. It will do more harm than good at the moment."
