That knife throw causes him to have to almost backflip out of the way, it comes close enough that it leaves a shallow cut across a temple. But in the process he stretches so far back that one of the stab wounds decides to make itself known and he has to bite his lip to hold back a hiss of pain as he rolls out of the way.
Ugh this was annoying. He should be better than this.
