He's smiling far too much right now for anyone looking over to think of him as broody. "It's always better with company. But football season is over...did you want company for anything else? I'm always free..." He shouldn't be so nervous at essentially asking her out again, but he is every time. It's just because he likes her enough that he wants to make sure she still wants him around.
