Sin kept scanning the area for any sign of trouble.
...And then, she found it. In the form of a little girl screaming her head off as two grown men made their way toward her.
She narrowed her eyes, leaping over the rooftop towards the alley.
Sin landed nimbly on her feet in front of the little girl, between the two muggers.
"Who the hell's the broad in the fishnets?" One of the muggers asked his partner.
"This broad has a name," Sin said, her tone cold. "It's Black Canary. And she wants you to step away from this little one."
The muggers laughed, raising their guns. Sin raised her fists and struck a fighting stance.
"Once the little brat gives us the cash she's got on her, then we'll go. Now, step away Birdie, or we'll blow your damn brains out to Kingdom Come."
