Harry stays quiet for various reasons and instead moves over to Andy and puts a comforting arm around his teammate. People shouldn't make Andy almost cry.
He has nothing to say to Ganthet. Because telling him that, obviously, the thought processes of giant coloured compassionate space octopi-things are a mystery to him is just plain rude. And Harry didn't do rude.
