Thomas picks up Mr. Paws and lets him perch on his shoulder again, while giving the kitten a sympathetic glance, trying to convey a 'I'm sorry I let her get here first and name you such things' look.
"Do you own any pets Pippi?" He tries to be conversational while the kitten on his shoulder happily nuzzles him.
