"Katima, please do not." replied Avalon softly. "He does feel for you differently than the others.. Please just.. let things be. There is no reason to start a fuss over this - me especially."
He then paused, and said softly "Let me speak to him about Josh. I know him best, and I should at least try.. You do not need to become involved, Katima."
There was no anger in his voice, just pleading. Avalon didn't want to offend Henry and overwhelm him, even though Avalon himself was suffering in plain sight every day.
