You know, it's not often that the deaf guy can notice raised voices. It helped that there were flaring emotions, but still. Robert walked by the growing conflict, but stayed in the background and just watched. He couldn't clearly read everybody's lips, but he wasn't really concerned about what was being said. He cared more about the situation easing up.
