It's certainly a bitter sweet moment. Avalon feels like he's just about to burst, between what he, himself was feeling, and what Josh was feeling doubled over inside his head. The alien gives a soft little sound and then lifts up on his toes to meet Josh's lips. For Avalon ,the kiss is a wild thing, marked with passion just now tasted, yet sadly was never meant to be. Finally the tears spill over the rims of Avalon's closed lashes, and he chokes back a sob as he opens more to Josh, deepening the kiss.
