"I'm sorry." whispers back Avalon. He clings to Josh, his body trembling so hard that he leans on the other boy to hold him up.
"I can not." he then says sadly, his voice so thick that the words are hard to even make out. Avalon squeezes Josh tightly, unwilling to let go. If only he had taken advantage of their time the other night alone. Now Avalon regrets not having done more with Josh than simple kissing. Then again.. a few days ago.. it didn't seem like this would ever happen.
