Thomas Kyle ([info]cantkeepmeout) wrote in [info]dc_nextgen,
Which is a blessing right now, since those canisters aren't easy to move, and he's got a few to do. While they're running he's getting them loaded into the unmarked van they had set out, no reason he can't use their transport.

Without her there was almost a guarantee he wouldn't have gotten them all in in time. But even the best distractions were only going to last so long, and he's lucky that by the time the guards realize the corners are fine and make their way back towards the places they'd left Thomas is jumping into the driver's seat (how silly of them to leave their keys on the dashboard).

It takes them no time to realize what's going on, and bullets start flying at the van and Thomas gets it started and slams on the accelerator. Head down and bullets shattering glass all around him, he hits the garage door opener on the keys and speeds straight through as more guards come and their bullets begin raining on the back of the van as he makes his great escape.

Grand theft auto eat your hear out.

Luckily he'd sent a high alert to the police so the people trained for this would get here soon. Now all he can do is get this van as far away as possible and hope Sarah had listened to those thief instincts and got the hell out of there. He'd find her later to meet up, now there was a getaway to make.
