"I am on it," K'hym assured him, passing into the ship again. As she did, she shifted her shape, changing it so that she looked more like the ones inside.
"Please do not be alarmed," she said when she was inside, speaking slowly and carefully in Martian. "We mean you no harm. We are here to help."
