Josh is focusing more on healing the injured and trying to block out whatever it is the Red Lantern is. He heals people with great speed, sending them away from the area quickly. He's no lantern but he's got his own light.
Of course he's just about to move onto one of the last victims when he senses the change in Katima. The teen's eyes go wide and his attention turns to Gorius. Assuming the huge alien is the one that hurt Katima, Josh rushes forward. The white glow grows into those white flames again and with uncanny agility, he leaps up to try landing on the alien's back.
"Hey! No hurting my friend!" he says, starting to pour his healing power into Gorius with the aim of restarting his heart and starting the production of his natural blood again. Given what he senses from the alien and the red ring, he assumes it will mess with his power a lot.
